The characters are flat, there is very little “vampire” in the book, and overall it felt as though the author rushed to get it published.

As a vampire book, it is different for quite a few reasons but mainly because it is told from the male vampire perspective. The only complaint I have about this book is that it ended way before I thought it would and it anetros somewhat in the middle of the action. I’ve read too many books recently where the characters fall in love instantaneously and frankly I was starting to get a little bored of romances.

I was thrilled with the fact that Georgia Cates brings us into the story at what should have been the end. Some of the dialogue was a bit choppy, however it didn’t detract from the plot or the ideas that the author was trying to convey.

Honestly, at first I did not what to except. I always am much more interested in what the men are thinking or feeling. Yet this is something Curry will not allow. I was really surprised by the opening passages of this novel.

Surrender, Book 3 Elfin Series. I can count on my fingers how many times each character has used a contraciton when speaking to another character. See if you have enough points for this item. This book is written entirely from Curry’s perspective and I couldn’t have been happier about that.
